OK, here goes my completely biased and inaccurate list considering the games I have beaten in the last years
Best:
01. Mike Tyson's Punch Out
02. Ghosts 'n Goblins
03. Ikari Warriors (terrible port, still love it to bits, so into the best games list it goes)
04. Superman
05. Rolling Thunder
06. Rambo
07. The Legend of Kage
08. Paperboy
09. Conan
10. Double Dragon II
All the games on that list are sadly entirely too easy.
Now, onto the biased, inaccurate list of worst games, ignoring the action 52 games, for no one deserve to suffer through the likes of Micro Mike and Storm over the Desert.
01. The Mutant Virus - Don't play it unless you are completely drunk
02. Mario Bros. What the heck is wrong with this game? Physics are all wrong in it!
03. Megaman 2 - Metalman makes the game nigh unbeatable.
04. Barbie - Good grief, why so pink?
05. Power Punch II - Should have never happened
06. Dragon Power - I enjoy playing it through, but why did they butcher the story that badly?
07. Lunar Pool - Fun for the whole family while you are still checking the math on how it's physics work. After you break it, it becomes a chore
08. Super Sprint - You beat it, people tell you that there is an ending at stage 84, you loop both the score and the stages and there is no fucking end. Then you shoot your cart at the range with a .44
09. Mahjong - It is Mahjong. Nothing else to add
10. Elite - Grind, grind, grind, grind, grind then grind some more.
There you go. My two completely biased lists. Probably not what you were looking for, but eh.

Blues Brothers, Arkanoid, Hunt for Red October, Pool of Radiance, Paperboy and Bartman meets Radioactiveman.
I absolutely plan on trying Bartman again but the rest are just eh.
