Cheers from literally the middle of Brazil

Hello guys!

My name is Thiago and I'm a 24 year old Brazilian dude. When I was about 11, my brother bought a computer and the machine had snes9x and hundreds of snes roms. At that time, I played a Portuguese translated Final Fantasy V rom and after finishing it, I fell in love with the JRPG genre. I didn't had internet at the time and all the other similar games were in English, so I picked a dictionary and finished as many similar games as I could. That's how I learned English and of course after some years I started to watch movies and TV series, but the JRPGs were the biggest factor in my English learning process.

I finished games such as FF IV, FF V, FF VI, Breath of Fire, Breath of Fire II, Bahamut Lagoon, Star Ocean, Tales of Phantasia, Earthbound, Lufia, Lufia 2, The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Secret of Mana, Chrono Trigger, Super Mario RPG, Dragon Quest VI, Illusion of Gaia, Terragnima and so many others. I love JRPGs and since I recently started playing Visual Novels and watching anime, I decided that I wanted to learn Japanese. I'm an engineer undergraduate and I had an opportunity to apply for a scholarship from the Brazilian government to study in Japan. I came back from there last month, on Sept. 5th and it was an amazing experience in my life.

While I was in Japan, I bought a lot of JRPGs. I got some of them for a really good price, while others were a little expensive. You can check my whole collection here: http://imgur.com/gallery/9BX07

The thing is that I'm poor and I was stupid. I shouldn't have spent that much money on games that I won't ever have time to play. I have the Japanese ability to play them just fine, but I want to get rid of this collection. I'm a somewhat compulsive person, so you can guess that I regretted building this collection, even though I was really happy at the time. Here in Brazil, it's really common for people to not have their own houses. My family is just me, my mom and my grandma and I'm unemployed at the moment. We live by rent ever since I was born and Brazil economic situation is really dire.

Anyway, I know that I only came to this forum because I want to sell my collection, but I've been a member of some forums in the past and I hope that I can contribute to the community in some way.

Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu!

Thanks man! I thought about whether or not to do it and decided to do so and use some emulator if I want to revisit these games. I started playing Start Ocean though hahah.

Thank you! Yoroshiku Onegaishimasu is a Japanese expression that would be translated roughly to "I put myself under your care" or something in these lines.

Oh, thank you so much. It's really motivating to read something like this. It's good to know I'm not alone on this scene!
