My Introduction
So I'll probably won't be using this account very often (if at all). The reasons I signed up for this site is because I was asking about reparing a GBA SP and looking for a game commercial.
The commercial in question:
I seen this commercial on "Cartoon Network". I finished playing it's predecessor on my PS2 prior to seeing it so it was pretty ironic. I can prove it exists by my exact location at the time: I was (and currently am) living in Huntersville, NC in a neighborhood called "Shepard's Vineyards". My uncle was staying with me at the time so I had my console in my folk's room. Their bedroom was small: their huge black "SANYO" TV was on the center right of their room along with my console; the bathroom entrance was on the right as well; their bed was bottom left of their room; the bathroom walls was pink with their toiletries and the nightstand (which is important) with a lamp on it was to the left of their bed.
Anyway, so when I was done playing Sonic Riders, I switched the input from video to TV. I just caught the ending sequence of Courage (where he takes a bow) and the CN interstitial. I think it was still CN City as I remember a commercial in said house where Andre and his students were dancing in a park (the promo for "Class of 3000"). After that, the commercial. I will only tell you what I know I saw.
So without further ado, let's begin:
Scene 1: I misremembered this scene, but now I'm certain of it. Sonic was wearing his new extreme gear getup and riding his new board (blue star?). Sonic was on the bottom left of the screen along with the riders on the right of the screen. There's turbulence behind them. The location was in a tunnel with gray arches and floor with an orange sky. The announcer sounds like the one from the first commercial (which I'll link for reference) and he said something about "zero gravity" (I think that's the tag-line of the game).
Scene 2: The ending was a black screen with the box-art to the left and the consoles on the right.
I'm almost positive to say that the music was upbeat and had no lyrics.
I saw the commercials at night hence the importance of the lamp. it was a made-for-tv comemrcial and NOT the trailers (I did not have the internet there).
Also, there is NO Janurary 2008 comemrcials anywhere online, leading me to believe that (jokingly) that month doesn't exist.
I've also tried to find a TV schedule of that year. I was so close, but waybackmachine falied me.
