Hi Everyone

Just started to get serious about my collecting about a year or two ago, funny one day I happend to look at my games and saw I had over 500 games xbox, playstation, game cube and so on anyway after seeing all those games i desided to organize. just recently started to collect for NES, SNES, Genesis N64 and the master-system.

Now that I have introduced myself i have a question, saw something on ebay the other day and was wandering if anyone knows about it, it seems there is a guy that is auctioning of an NWC yes  a Nintendo World Championship Game the Gold cart, now I  am not a expert by no means  so that is why I would like to know if anyone out there knows about it and if it is real, according to my research nintendo only produced 26 copes of it witch would make it very rare.

Just curious not intending on bidding on it, I just found it interesting.

the item # is 262672424925 if anyone wants to have a look and the seller is steviejdm (203)

Hope Im not breaking any rules, it is something I saw on a public site so iI figur it's OK

Looked up the seller, and this is what's in his description:

First of all this is NOT an original.

This cartridge has been created to look and play just like the original as you can see from the pictures. Even the switches work.

And still he tries to sell it for over $1200. So no, not real. Just a person trying to scam people who don't bother reading the description.

    Nice work there, GoldeneyeGamer!
  • welcome aboard ...
  • .....don't get serious about games. Keep it fun! Play on Playa
  • Ya I thought so, when ever something looks good it usually is to good to be true. I figured it was a scam, but when in doubt ask those who know.
    Thanks much
  • Sorry I forgot to ask, how can you tell it's fake without seeing the circuit board, just trying to learn as a nub to all this.

you don't. You need to see the board to determine 100% if a game is legit. If you see a game in person you can kinda judge by label quality and the quality of the plastic from the cart shell. But that goes out the window looking at online pics. One thing to look at is if the label has slightly different art, or how the corners are cut. But I'd rather look at the board to be certain. There's also legit games with fake labels out there

    Also welcome!
