Background:


We all are familiar with the story, Resident Evil for the GBC was canned nearing its completion. Post cancelation, the game's files were then released and while the game is not perfect, it's certainly playable.


For those in the know, this is Cartridge Build 1 (the better of the two ROM dumps) - which features both Chris and Jill as playable characters.

Sigh, I know the GBC games are in a traditional GB cartridge, but sometimes my friends, you just take what you can afford

    Oh my god man, I want to jump on this so bad, but I have to say that seeing the grey cartridge killed like 80% interest  Everything looks awesome, just need a physical copy that looks like a GBC game. Damn! But cheers anyway!

    For the colored carts, yeah, I know. GB and GBC colored carts were just a little out of my price range at the time - so I figured "make it the way it would have been released". I'm very happy with how they turn out.

    There weren't Lickers in the GBC version, were there? Never really looked before to see, but I noticed one on the cover. The Hunters were the "oh, shit!" enemy I remember from at least the console versions.



    Also, those reviews by IGN and GameSpot... Those couldn't possibly be for the Gameboy release?

    Either the Lickers were never incorporated or they skipped them. I was always in fear of Mr. T myself from R.E. 2.

    It was to be a Gameboy Color release. I could only get the original GB shells at the same but the game is in color.

    This is really cool. I'm not a huge fan of RE but I'm considering this. I'm going to post in this thread so I can find it easier later if I decide to bite. Either way, good job.

    Hello everyone and thanks for being so patient with my messages. Getting over the winter cold as well as dealing with a loss in the family has set me back a bit in the past week.
