Sure, some examples from around the internet. There are multiple variations, but typically you'll see:

- thumb stick is larger

- longer and narrower handles

- "bean" shaped B button

- start button has a different shape or placement

- d-pad is different or missing completely

- shoulder button may be a small placeholder or missing completely.

I kinda dig the bean shaped B button. Are these functionally different from normal controllers? I noticed some completely lacking a Dpad.

The early ones have a RJ - 11 plug (similar to phone jack) and would only connect to early DDH (Dolphin Development Hardware) units without modification. Later ones have the gc adapter. I've read that the later ones should function normally, though I have not personally had the chance to try one.
