Thanks for having me!
Hey gang, feels great to be a memeber. I've been reading threads on here for ages but only just signed up yesterday.
I live in Nova Scotia Canada and am a pretty avid collector (mostly SNES and N64, but I do NES and Wii too). My "captains chest" of games is looking pretty good these days. I've recently started doing minor Nintendo repairs and restoration for my local games shop, mostly replacing old power supplies and pin connectors, breaking lockouts, salvagining broken machines to rebuild others and the like. Pretty basic stuff, but I'm really interested in upping my game when it comes to repairs and mods. Hopefully some of the pros around here might be able to share what they've learned. I've read a lot, but don't have the practice in a lot of areas. My current project is tracking down a problem with my N64 (keeps blowing power supplies), but I'll start a post for that later!

The pride of Nova Scotia.
Welcome. I see you've picked a spooky Halloween avatar too.
It's pretty scary isn't it?
Thanks everybody for the warm welcome. Seems like a great community here!

Retrofixes hangs out here!?
I understand Retrofixes is a pretty busy person, so I don't want to bother them if I don't have to. You are right though, they are probably the most qualified authority for this subject (not to say there aren't plenty of other pros around here!) and would be able to give the best advice. If I don't get any good leads on my problem, in the topic I started over on the Help Wanted board, I'll give Retrofixes a shout. Thanks!
