Question about 60 to 72 pin Famicom to NES converter
I hear that the Honey Bee is the best converter out there.
However, I found this converter being sold for less. It is made in Hong Kong. I am on a budget so I am intrigued. Anyone have any experience with these grey converters? See pic attached and link below.

I can't think of any reason it wouldn't work on an nes 101 unless it's shade won't fit in the tray.
What system will you be playing it on? The listing says it can't be used with original NES consoles.
I'll be using a Top Loader. It will definitely not work on the toaster/front loading OG, NES.

It could work with on the toaster if the 10nes is disabled
KRIKzz of EverDrive fame sells one. I ordered it recently (it's now en route to me). Since it works perfectly with the EverDrive N8, it's probably highly compatible and a good choice.
On their site it's just a board: https://krikzz.com/store/home/40-famicom-to-nes-adapter.html
I'd prefer a product like the Honey Bee (with a shell), so it's easy to swap games.

You can play Famicom games on the toaster with a Honeybee. I remember doing that back in college before anybody knew what a lockout chip was.
I think the reason you can't/don't want to use this on a toaster is because it'll be a bitch to get out without a ribbon on it.

That's what I was thinking. If you pull on the fami cart it'll leave the adapter deep in the NES, probably necessitating taking the cover off.
I have this one and it works great in my famicom toploader
