Does DK Tropical Freeze have native control lag?

Hi



I was all excited to play DK Tropical Freeze for the first time.

I've been having issues with the controls and I thought I just needed to get use to it, it rolls when I don't want and it doesn't when I want unless I do it very precisely, I died several times for stuff like that.



But today I finally checked and the character lags when crouching or jumping in carts or water.

I'm using the Pro Controller



It is very frustrating and I'm sad I just can't play the game correctly, with its difficulty I need good control precision in every jump and turn and etc.



So, is its my TV or the game or console?



My TV doesn't have Game Mode, it just has options in general, it already has filters off if there are any. It is a 50'' LED Polaroid



Please, does anyone have any tips?, I really want to enjoy this game

Do you have another tv in your house to try it on? Sorry im not very technical but could suggest that.

Can you play on the Game Pad? If so, do you have the same problem on the small screen?



If you google this game + input lag, you will find several forum and reddit posts so you're definitely not the only one.

I have had the same issue and just figured it was the game...

I've tried with gamepad, wiimote, original Pro and Afterglow Pro, it has the same lag.

I think it has less lag solo than multiplayer but maybe is illusory



I've not tried on different TV

This game controls incredibly. No idea what your talking about so Im no help



I use the Dpad and when I go underwater I switch to the analog stick.

I thought it was simply part of the steep difficulty curve. Maybe this is why the game hasn't been as fun as it should.

Boy i never noticed a lag. I will try it today and look for it but i was going to say this was one of my top 5 games of all time!
