Quest Forge: By Order of Kings

So, I have been playing Quest Forge now. Its fairly easy to beat, if you know what you are doing.  I can get it down to a ~7 minute run. I may actually record a speedrun of it. For those who are curious, it takes 2 speed, 7 attack, and 5 defense minimum to beat the final boss (with all perfect criticals, 6 attack might be possible). I've managed to do it while skipping 1 heart and two shields.



I know Piko's name is dirt around here (I'm not a fan of his either), but this game is pretty fun. I was hoping others have played it, since I haven't found all the secrets yet.  If anyone knows what is with the secret room in the desert that opens up when you beat the final boss, I'd appreciate it.



Oh, and there are a few glitches. If you enter certain screens at the wrong place, you get stuck inside the mountains, and essentially soft lock the game. Or, if you power level beyond F attack (15), the counter loops, and you end up with zero attack. Kind of a shitty oversight.



Anyway, I know at least a few of you have purchased this. Let me know what you guys think!

    Overall, I really like it and wish Ludosity would do more NES stuff. I've been trying to figure out that secret room as well.

    I became obsessed with this game when I first got it. I wish it got more publicity, because it's probably my favorite homebrew ever made. Stoked to see more people speak highly of it.

    I played this for a short while and couldn't get the hang of the mechanics. With how highly KHAN praised it (the reason I bought it in the first place) I will eventually give it the try it deserves.

    I have the cart only and would love to see a you tube video on game play. There are a couple of short ones. It is a bit hard to figure out what to do without a manual. It seems like an enjoyable game that I should put more time into.

    Definitely one of the best brews out there! Rogue-like battles with a standard overworld. Challenging, but forgiving, all at once. Easily in my top ten brew selection.

    Seriously! I wonder if anyone has figured out that secret yet.



    I thought it might be a map of the various overworlds.
