  • This is the benefit of living in a tiny town way the hell off the beaten path, with an awkwardly placed Walmart in the middle of it. Something new and hot comes out, doorcrashers across the country? Yeah I'll get up at head down there at 2:00 in the afternoon, where a barely-touched stack of the newest hottest item sits at a display. Remember when it was impossible to get a gold Mario Amiibo and people were trying to charge hundreds for them at launch because they were all instantly sold out everywhere? My Walmart still has stock on the shelves from that initial release. When the Xbox Elite controller was in crazily short supply, again they were readily available. The NES classic didn't sell a fraction of the available units here for days, until a dude I work with heard all the uproar about them and went down with his friends and bought them all. They ended up with 16 units. I worry one day this Walmart will close down and I'll lose my awesome no-need-to-preorder-anything-ever hookup, but y'now, first world problems.
  • ^ Definitely a nice resource to have for sure!

I no longer can drive thanks to my health, so i am stuck relying on being resourceful and keeping an eye on the online stuff.

I would of missed this one if it wasn't for a friend on an action figure collecting FB group lol

Well I live in Kelowna, but I'm working in Prince Rupert on a two-year contract. Two years of no lineups anywhere is gonna be hard to say goodbye to, I have to admit.
