We're going to be having pecan pie at our dinner, but with pumpkin pie too. I hope this doesn't displease the pecan master too much...
Anyway, happy Thanksgiving! I'll be visiting family for the next few days, so glad this thread was made so I could wish everyone to have a good one!
Gotta love pie. Pecan is awesome. Can't go wrong with a homemade apple pie either. I'd kill for a good peach cobbler this year. My mom has been using this recipe for one with a thick and soggy crust, more like blobs of half cooked dough that I'm not a fan of. Maybe I'll get lucky with a traditional recipe this year.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. If you go out shopping tonight, think of me and how much I will destroy your items when I ship them...um, I mean carefully package them with care.

Happy Hallothanksween. Today we will stuff our turkey and hang it by the fire, and trim the tree with stuffing and potatoes. Later we'll dress our daughter up like a Disney princess and go around the neighborhood, knocking on doors and filling a pillowcase with gravy.
