Little extra's when buying 2nd hand games

i love it when i find little extra's in lots/games that i buy that werent mentioned during the purchase

in the newer nintendo games i often find unscratched nintendo-vip pointcards.. which i find a precious little extra image
also finding out that a CIB still has the baggie (nes/snes/gb/n64) is something that makes me smile every time

what are the little extra's that you find to be worth it ?

  • When I bought those Fun Club scorepads, the seller threw in the original mail-in forms, envelopes, and an original advertisement (which I didn't have). Really liked that image.
  • Or manuals when you think they are cart only image
  • I enjoy finding original receipts from when the game was first purchased. Is that weird?
  • i read those too.. but i dont put them back in the box, i throw them away

i love that to.. just like little paper notes..  some time wierd stuff is written on it. as long ist not in the manual off course
  • i use to give people games for free when i was selling on ebay starting out ... like they would buy a 12 nes game lot with system and i would throw in a free game like yoshi, or yoshi's cookie, or something like that (i don't think anyone ever thanked me ... and recently when i started giving out free games people would message me in rants SAYING I DON'T WANT THIS GAME WHERE IS THE GAME YOU SAID IT CAME WITH to which i would politely reply inside the nintendo system ... and that's when i stopped giving out free games
  • lol ant image

i give free games sometimes too.. with people buying big lots or when i made an error somewhere
  • About a year ago there was a bubble bobble 2 manual. in a lot of nes games that i bought.

I sold that for 75. I emailed the buyer and asked if he had the cart. He said he would find It and let me know

I never hard back from him.
  • getting the game and finding its factory sealed.
  • I bought a neo geo AES game and found a neo geo CD game inside the case behind the manual! THAT was epic.

Once I bought a virtual boy and mario golf cart was in the system but un advertised!
  • I bought a large lot of CIB games around 3 years ago.The buyer said some games were new in the description.I ended up getting around 12 factory sealed games including mega man 5 and castlevania 3.All the other CIB`s were mint still with baggies.

Another extra is when I bought a lot that had a r.o.b. and a top loader for cheap.

When I received the stuff, the seller included the boxes for both systems.
  • I got a bunch of Sega CD manuals once in an nes lot. Every now and then a free game. The best one for me was when I bought a huge lot of systems and games for a fair amount, but there was no mention of cables and controllers in the listing so I was wondering if they would be included. When I got it, they were there and the amount of controllers was epic (like 7 playstation controllers alone).
  • I got an NES system once that had a jewel hidden in the piece that clips into the bottom. There was a note that said "I knew you would look in here, give me a call sometime. Julie" and enclosed was a very old unused condom. Guess the poor guy never looked in there.

LMAO Was there a number to call? You should have given her a buzz image
  • that would've been too hard to resist...the things people put in the proposed expansion slot...
  • Unfortunately no phone #
  • well.. if that condom was to be used in the 80's.. by the time you found it i think she'd be worn out image
  • haha, probably true
  • i once scored a killer deal on a huge lot that included a box F2 and a shit ton of games that were complete and a system for like $200 + shipping. I knew that it came with a boxed bubble bobble and I was stocked cuz i still needed the box. I got it and the boxed bubble bobble was in a former rental case with the box cut in half and put in the sleeve image. Needless to say I was a little pissed, but that soon turned to happiness when i opened the box only to find Bubble Bobble 2. A very nice surprise!

  • i once had a lot which stated it had donkey kong cart

turned out to be a donkey kong cart, with a donkey kong 3 box + manual .. image
  • I recently got a copy of Galaga '90 for the Turbo Grafx which had a free copy of Sonic Spike stuffed inside. It's good that the game was free because that's about what it's worth!

  • This one time I got an Atari Jaguar console and a bunch of games - about 6 games were sealed and for some reason there was an Atari Portfolio Parellel drive module in there aswell - go figure!
  • Once we picked up a Deluxe Rob NES set on ebay with a ton of BB games included as an added bonus was Duck Hunt and Gyromite in Minty Condition image
