I already got my Secret Santa gift, I didn't know it was, as I received a few other packages at the same time, so I just opened them all. It wasn't wrapped or anything but there was a nice note the sender left me. Looking forward to the reveal to show off the goods!

I am so excited about putting my gift together. It isn't anything earth-shattering by any means, but I have really spent a lot of time looking around and trying to get everything I want to include. The hard part for me is that I really want it to be more "special" and I'm just having trouble figuring out exactly what that means.
It may sound corny or whatever, but I genuinely enjoy the giving part of this Secret Santa more than receiving. For me it is about giving the surprise and hopefully making someone smile. I spend as much time for this if not more, than the amount of time I put in to doing things for some of my family members, haha!
I can't wait to see the reveal thread. I know we are a bit away from that, but I always really look forward to it and enjoy seeing all the things people have done. It is so much fun and I'm just glad to be a part of it.

I think I fell into a spot of luck with my secret Santa. Fortunately/unfortunately they're going to mostly be receiving a certain sort of gift and a dab of others from their request. But hey, considering my situation I think I didn't do too shabby! Rather excited and hoping they're appreciate what they're getting.
Though I am bouncing around curious as to what my Santa is going to get for me, more so because I asked for a lot of incredibly common things, so shopping for me should have been easy as sin.
I see t my box out a couple days ago, went for the Medium flat rate because it fit so nicely. I'm really happy with what I found to put in the box, a couple cab repros and homebrews. I put a big note on the top saying don't look before Xmas, and then a note with my name at the bottom of the box.
I think I was pretty vague with what I asked for. Super general, which might make it hard for someone to pick something, but really I'd be super happy with just a nice handwritten card.
Also, I really hope I don't open the SS gift by accident and see whats inside. I love opening it on Xmas day, my family always loves watching to see what I got. Super excited for the reveal thread!
Just my luck when I get ready to send it the USPS site is giving me issues. Tomorrow I hope to hit a post office and send it that way >.>....
I'm glad I wrapped my gift...that way they can toss the ugly box and put a wrapped gift under the tree if they like doing that. I also tossed in some candy in a little zip lock...it's not chocolate or anything with nuts so food allergy's should be covered. But they can always just toss the candy without ever touching it.
I really do have to say that gift wrapping is amazing TwistedCivic.
Oh and someone mentioned earlier that they were debating about putting smoked sausage and cheese in? Leave the cheese out I think...lactose intolerant people out there lol.

Still waiting on my one item from overseas before I can send my one out. It has a big time frame to arrive, but I'm a week into the earliest date and was being optimistic it would arrive by now. Hoping it gets here, but if not, I'll just go to plan B and probably ship out Monday.
I ended up sending mine out a few days ago, and when I looked up the tracking to see how it was going it said it arrived in New Hampshire... Obviously I expected the worst but luckily it's still going to it's proper destination. No idea why it went a state over instead of going straight to Boston's origin facility, but hey at least it isn't going to some stranger by accident.
I sent mine out yesterday. I hope my dude likes it. I got him the one thing he listed for sure, but I may have misread the optional stuff. As for my second person, well, I know they will like their present...
Mailed mine and Canada Post reports a successful deliver. Hope they enjoy it.
Side note: This will be the third year I participate. In the previous 2 years my gifts have never appeared in the "Show us what you got" threads... hope I get a shout out this yer .
