I plan to ship my gift out tomorrow. I will be sending it expedited to make sure it arrives in plenty of time. I will make sure to include extra in there to really make it a good gift!
I can't wait for my recipient to receive the gift and I just hope it brings a little extra joy to their Christmas.

I usually don't wait this long... I had everything ordered by the second day and all but one thing arrived within the first week. However, I still have one item from overseas that hasn't arrived yet. I plan on checking my mail when I get home and, if it's not there, sending the current package out regardless. I just wanted to hopefully get the item in time, but doesn't look like it's going to happen.
I got my purchases done. Just gotta mail em out to my secret santa. Plus the note that was in the box ( I respected the wait till christmas request ) BUT I think i know who it was with the hints given.

Sent mine out today and received my own days ago. Looking forward to all the reveals! I hope I can be a little more creative and whatnot next year; life has been so hectic that I didn't get to do all I wanted to do.
Uh oh...just checked my tracking...for some reason it's being held up hopefully that gets sorted out soon.
Maybe snow...? I've never actually seen anything sent via USPS being held up before...
It's just winter volume. We don't get to peer behind the curtain into the world of the postal service too much, it's just one of those invisible services that we don't pay much attention to. It's almost like sewer system services. They're essential to people, people have no idea what goes into making them work the way they do, they just know they do work, and don't ask a lot of questions. But if we were able to take a peek behind that curtain, there's holiday insanity going on back there. There's still a week of cushioning time left, so I wouldn't worry too hard at this point.
USPS started delivering mail on Sundays a couple a weeks ago in my area. I've also noticed that mail comes at random times now. It usually comes mid-afternoon but lately it's sometimes already there when I leave for work in the morning. It sure makes me think things are crazy right now

I noticed that over the summer. I was mowing the lawn on a nice sunday afternoon and the mailman rolled down my street and delivered me a text book that I had ordered on Amazon a few days prior. It caught me off gaurd.

I was about to post in this thread that hopefully the person I bought for liked their items as I literally didn't have enough time to shop to be able to ship it out by the deadline! I instead tried to get creative and personal.... Merry X-Mas!

Ha, this happened to me today. I got an alert from my alarm today that someone was at my front porch at like 8AM. Found out it was the USPS, which normally comes at 4PM.
I received my package today and man I'm excited. The thing weighs a ton. I can't imagine what could be in it. I wasn't too specific with my wants so it should be a total surprise. I won't be opening until Christmas morning though.
