How do you most identify other members
When scrolling through the forums how do you identify other members best? Do you look at their username or avatar?
I identify and remeber other members best by their avatar for the most part, except for certain situations where their username really stands out to me.

I see the avatar as a quicker way to identify someone, but I generally remember which name is associated with which avatar, if the person is active that is.
Also, it may be bad for me to do this but I am guilty of it, does anyone give each other their own voices too? lol I give everyone a unique voice in my head while reading what they say. Sometimes I'll even associate what they may look like despite the avatar.

Username is second IMO, unless there is no avatar.

I suck at lining up avatars to users when I'm quizzed, though I can probably match about 30% of them just from being here so often.
This would be a fun quiz to make. Take 15 usernames and see if people can name their avatar. Then take 15 avatars and see if people can name the username.

For someone who goes by usernames why do you change your name so much? Each time you do I have to click on the glasses and say "Oh, that's who he is." Throws me for a loop everytime.
Username, however I do associate avatars with certain members....especially Empire.

Probably username, given that I myself don't have an avatar. The only reason I have one on SA is because someone made it for me
I am going to say this because I have the opportunity now but your username is one of the best I have ever seen hahahahahh I say it to myself randomly sometimes or when I see a Game Boy.
As I'm collecting all of the contest info, I have to keep checking names to see if they're retired. Usually I find out its someone who is not only active, but I recognize them from their avatar. So, yeah, avatars.

Trying to hide from you, Jone! Clearly I have failed. In all seriousness, changed it a couple times for a variety of reasons. Settled on a more permanent one this time.

Same. That's why all you Canadians using Empire's squidbilly avatar confused the fudge out of me.
I voted avatar, since I always look there first, but with so many members dropping in and out of NA it's hard to keep track of avatars nowadays.
