I just did a basic look at the Browns OL, which a lot of people say is junk (aside from HoFer Thomas) as a reason the Alabama D would hold them in check.
Joe Thomas - 10 years in the league. 156 starts. All-American.
Spencer Drango - Rookie. Cll-American
Cameron Erving - 2 years. 13 starts. All-American.
John Greco - 9 years. 70 starts. 3x All Conference.
Austin Pasztor - 4 years. 39 starts. 2nd team All-American.
Point is, while they may not be the best of the best NFLers, they are hardly practice squad fodder. They were the best of the best in college. This talk is just crazy.
Just don't forget, every NFL player is the elite of all the college teams combined. Even if Alabama does have a dozen or so players that would get a crack at the NFL, maybe 3 would be "good players", maybe 4 more after a few years "could" end up being solid NFL players, and rest would be working at Home Depot in 2 years.
Well if the Browns organization folded tomorrow and the players had to find new teams next year or retire how many would find spots on other teams?
Depending on their contracts, I would say most of them. Not every player at every position needs to be elite.
Sure but teams would have to drop one to pick up one. All the other teams are currently full and there is a full draft of new players on the way.
Pretty much all the browns would probably be picked up by someone. Especially 1st and 2nd teamers. Its embarrasing you are entertaining the idea of it being remotely competitive
Hell the browns are really just a competent experienced qb away from being reasonable this year. Theyve folded now as a team. They were in almost every game for weeks. Just found a way to lose.

Sports journalism fail for even entertaining the idea

i think Alabama could easily beat Dallas.
Bull crap. Dak Prescott would run circles around the Crimson Tide Defense.
