A friend of mine who as been following it closely said it was pushed back. I have messaged her and asked her to let me know where her source was. She will let me know or respond directly here. Honestly I was just repeating what she said. I too will look online to see if I find her source.

I also got this email Update #90 from Kickstarter a week after this email from Amazon. It clearly says they are not ready to go with the Wii U version and so far just digital only likely until March 2017

This release includes:
Steam for Window PC - worldwide
Xbox One - worldwide
PS4 & Vita - North America & Europe
Wii U - North America & Europe (awaiting final confirmation)
I just checked my Amazon account and it says its being delivered December 13th.
I just saw it announced a few days ago that the 20th is the release date for the digital version, its a mixed bag as to when the retail version is out.
I got my final copy on Steam today. Took them long, but they delivered a really good, fun game. It was well worth to blow so much money on the Kickstarter for this project.

Since a lot of my friends love the Shantae series, I put enough money on the KS to get an NPC in the game, so I was pretty excited for this release.
Anyway, for 2017 I am looking forward for Zelda on the Switch, along with the new Super Mario game.

Anything else would be dependent on buying a current console or PC, which I may or may not do in 2017.
(Currently more interested in a Framemeister, an SD2SNES, and a refurbished+modded Duo, among other things...)
