My Dad was doing some cleaning at his apartment and found one of my time capsules from the year 2000

I can't believe he found this stuff! I'd totally forgotten about it.

I've had my 97, 98 & 99 Nintendo Power supplies catalog and wondered for years what ever happened to my 2000 copy!

I got a huge kick out of those bogus WWF email addresses and seeing how accurate the contract dates were!

Ya...totally...i dont still have an aol account...
  • No AOL promo CDs from Taco Bell that had free internet on them? lol
  • Holy shit this was in there too! I didn't even see them! A Nintendo Power renewal letter with the original envelope!!!!

And that WWF SlamCam was my first ever digital camera and photo editing program....it was sooo bad haha

  • Jeez! I looked in the bag one final time and this was in there too! My Dad is the man for holding on to all of this!

More ancient internet printouts and the Lego 2001 catalog (which obviously came out in 2000)

  • Those old Lego catalogs were awesome. I remember looking through those for hours in the 90s. The pages with assorted pieces were always cool.
  • Star Wars, Pokemon, and WWF pretty much sums up the year 2000.
  • Good ole geocities brings back some old interweb memories.

Also speaking of that Slam Cam I still have mine it's buried out in the storage building, gawd that thing sucked, but I just HAD to have it.
  • Ha, I love the WWF contract end dates. RajahWWF is a true insider.
  • Oh, man, that shitty print quality and those stock grids used on those websites for codes and stuff definitely brings back memories of early internet surfing. I remember booking internet time at the local library in the late 90s before we got a computer and always looking up game codes for whatever reason. Before YT and really any instant video was around... or at least that I knew about.
  • Good work man! Thanks for the nice trip down nostalgia lane!!!
  • Oh man, those Pokemon items make my heart happy. Love that old art.
  • So that's crazy about the WWF e-mails. Ironically Paul Bearer's e-mail was percypringle3@percypringle.com and I actually contacted him in 2005 with:

"When I think about my fondest memory of the Paul Bearer character, one

thing comes to mind. Popping in an old WWF tape, when they were

distributed by Coliseum Home Video, and I remember seeing the good ol

Bearer saying, "Coliseum Home Video fans, have I got a treat for you!"

To this day we still refer to that as one of the most classic moments

    in old WWF era."

    A month later he responded!

    "Jeff,

Thanks so much for your kind email.  I appreciate your thoughts more than you will ever realize.  Have a great weekend.

    ~Percy"

When you consider that he is no longer with us, definitely an interesting aspect.

  • I can't say for sure whether I ever got a reply back from any of those email addresses or not, even by early 2000 standards many of them were pretty dated
  • "Poontang Pie" aahahhahahahaah
  • We would have been buddies back then for sure. Paul Bearer, on the other hand, wont return my emails.
  • Haha I'm sure many of us on this board would have made good friends growing up

This is the only picture of myself I've ever been able to find using the computer back in those days
