  • Agreed. I hate when people get all fired up about who the GOAT is. The game was different, the players where different, the times where different and all the players in the conversation brought something different to the table. It's not as simple as stat lines.

It would be like saying "Ben johnson was better the Jessie Owens bc he ran the 100m quicker."

You were great to watch and always added some laughs to any game you were a part of!

I just read the news. Very sad day for the NBA and its fans. RIP.
  • I thought he was going to beat it   TNT broadcast tonight too. How sad.
  • go cavs. when they're on they are terrifying.
  • Rockets finally in the easier stretch of the schedule. Coasted in the last 2 wins.

harden another triple double. Hes had a couple the last 2 games at the end of the 3rd lol.

    Beverley nearly a triple double

Eric Gordon is a monster from 3. Had 7 more tonight. What a pickup he was.

And even through all of that, they're still above .500 and in good position. Once they can catch a healthy streak, they pile up the wins.

I'm still picking the C's to take the 2 seed in the East

Looks like I might have to eat these words... Celtics are making a push for #1 in the East (just 2.5 games back), and according to LeBron, Cleveland lacks a "play-maker". What a clown that guy is.

I wish the rockets could be in the east lol. Be a 1 seed right now haha.

Rockets had a bleh january. Horrible schedule. Lead the league in games played, road games played, back to backs played. January was the culmination. For the last month they hadnt had more than 1 off day in between games. Traveled cross country 6 times in a 10 day stretch. It was definitely a wtf schedule.

You can tell in the shooting , they have dead legs. Finally get a break between games after yesterdays 2nd night of yet another back to back. Atleast they won that one in OT vs the bulls after crapping the bed the night before and choking a 20 point 4th quarter lead to the hawks.

and how do you lack a playmaker when you have max contract guys everywhere. 3 superstars.

ugh rockets have to be in a conference with SA and GS

Yeah, Feb will be a tough month for Boston. Only 3 more home games and 7 on the road. 3 back-to-back sets...

We'll see though. I really hope Avery can come back soon. He's a big part of our core and having him out there takes some offensive pressure off of Thomas (who is playing incredible basketball right now). So far Avery's missed 14 games

I wish avery bradley would come back for my NA fantasy team. Was a sick rebounder for a guard earlier this year.  Still in first without him all this time, but he was a big part of my team. His 3 point shooting was fire this year too.

Yeah, it's kinda sad. Dude was on pace for a breakout year. He was our leading rebounder and 2nd leading scorer before the achilies trouble. Not to mention a mean on-ball defender.

I only hope that he can pick up where he left off once he gets back.

  • I was definitely wrong about the Celtics, just when I thought things were really going to sink for them, they had a massive surge. Looks like next month I might get to take advantage of my friend's bosses season tickets and go to a home game, seats are at center court just a couple of rows up. He already went to the Raptors game the other night with his girlfriend and figured if/when he goes again he will let me have the other ticket   All these years I've never been to a Celtics game, been to plenty of ceremonies at the Hall of Fame in Springfield, but this will be exciting if I get to go

Sweet dude. Celtics are definitely surging. Let us know how you like td garden.

i went to toyota center for the first time a couple years ago. Got to see harden play in person. It was fun. Was the game where parsons hit  his 10 3s in a half.

saw rockets @dallas last year. Hate the seats in dallas. So jammed. My knees had to bend back and i couldnt move. The seats were made for sub 6 ft people. Luckily was sitting next to some corporate people who bailed in the second half and i could sit kinda sideways
  • My alma mater lost three out of their last four, and that one win we barely squeaked out in OT. As my HS baseball manager/head coach would say (I was student manager in 1998 and 1999) that doesn't get you the brass ring!   I really really hope they start trying a little harder

As for the NBA, ask me when we get the Kentucky Colonels back.   I only care about/follow the teams I have diplomas/degrees for.
  • I'm excited about tonight's Cavs game. I love Walton and Vitale's calls. I wish ESPN did Crossover Wednesdays more often.

This call was a giant tire fire, and it was awesome. More please!

(IT behind the beard 4 mvp)
  • I love that no matter how much of a dumpster fire the Bulls are, they will always beat Toronto. I wish we weren't a dumpster fire though.
  • Rockets kyrptonite this year is miami apparently.

last night miami shot nearly 80 percent the first quarter.

harden 38/12/12 on 10/21 shooting and still cant beat them. Rest of the team falls flat on their face vs them. Part of it though was beverley going down in the 3rd. Brewer on dragic the second half was brutal. Corey brewer by far the worst rotation player on the rockets. Such a waste of time. Cant shoot. Cant defend. Just useless. If running were a stat, i guess he would be elite at that
  • Ever since I was a kid I've heard the old rumor/theory that occassionally the Lakers shorts did not match the color of their jerseys whatsoever, it isn't until today I found this set of photos that truly shows how off they sometimes were! It was true!

  • Meh, wake me up when the playoffs start and teams play D for all 48 minutes.
  • ERIC GORDON!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 3 POINT CHAMPION!!!!!!!

Pretty humble about it too. Even though it went to Overtime nobody really put much pressure on him though. I figured he'd take it easily even if he went against Klay Thompson in the finals. Definitely the highlight of an overall poor NBA Saturday Night (honestly the DNCE concert might have been better than anything)

  • Boogey cousins now a pelican wow.
  • Lou williams makes the rockets backcourt completely sick

    Harden , beverly, williams, gordon

    Super deep.
  • Anybody here have tabs on Danny Ainge? Some inside information maybe?

I'm going crazy waiting for this deadline to pass. The only rumored trade that I'd be happy with is for Andre Drummond. (Although I don't know who we'd have to give)

Theyd probably try and stick you with reggie jackson as well and give up 1st rounder and a couple of your prospect solid guards

And I dont know about drummond. He gets ragged on for not trying hard all the time, and he is the worst free throw shooter Ive ever seen in my life. His rebounds are nice, but I dont think hes worth the contract he will demand.
