Bought Mario Maker for the 3DS. Got it really cheap, and then I went to my friend's house and got a Dr. Pepper from his local dairy.
Strange, I used to know a poet from New Zealand who wrote about Coca-cola being cheaper than the domestically-produced milk. Are trade inequities down there still an issue?
Not really anymore from what I see. Coke is expensive if you're buying one, but it is everywhere I've been (outside of NZ.) It's now milk being more expensive for the good brands haha.

Thanks for chiming in, yeah I haven't heard an update on the Coke vs. Milk thing from this guy in about ten years. Branding probably makes a big difference, here in the states I've been buying milk from a place called Aldi's that charges about $2.00 per gallon versus the $3.50 at other supermarkets. Makes me wonder how much of that price is paying for advertising?
On the soda, I don't know if it holds true in other parts of the world; but here I'll buy 2-liters in bulk-- periodically the stores will get oversupplied and that's the time to fill your cart with 30 or 40 bottles. I've seen the price range from $0.80 to $2.50 USD o_O, this is for the good-quality stuff mind you. NEVER buy "Star and Stripes" or any of that 3-liter weirdness; that stuff is poison, lol.
My wife and I took yesterday off for my birthday. Did a bit of grocery shopping and buying some more gifts for my daughter since I got a bonus. Also ended up buying a new 32" tv for use as a computer monitor in my game room. Oh, and Akira on dvd and MUSHA.
Picking up Defenders of Dynatron City and probably the cleanest Roger Clemen's I've ever seen for $25 soon and just bought a CIB Wheres Waldo? and loose Sesame Street ABC/123 for $14 shipped. I think I did good
Nothing as yet today, but I did buy the Predator Omnibus Volume 1 and a five-pack Coen Bros. movie collection (Barton Fink, Blood Simple, Miller's Crossing, Fargo, and Raising Arizona). Almost didn't buy the latter because I have two of the five movies already, but it was a great deal at work, so I pulled the trigger.

The same here with soft drinks (soda) too. It's much cheaper if you're buying the bigger bottles. About the same price after the exchange rate is factored in. Unfortunately, it is pretty terrible right now, with 1 New Zealand dollar being 69 US cents.
I recently bought Galaxy 5000 NES. Had my eye on it for awhile, finally got a good deal one one. Hard to find without some label peeling somewhere.
That game is really fun. I'm surprised it hasn't gone up in price yet.
I think that if more people realized its close ties to Rock and Roll Racing (ditto for Radical Psycho Machine Racing), more folks would go after it. Great game.
