Hello, There!

Hello, all. I'm new to this forum, but not new to Nintendo. I'm sure you've heard many stories like this before, so I won't bore you with too much detail.

I grew up in a small town in Maine. I was born in 1980, so I got to experience a lot of running around outside, biking, and a bunch of other shenangians you're supposed to do growing up in a small town. While my uncle and cousins had an Atari, video games weren't something that really caught my attention until the NES came around. My parents bought me the Nintendo Action Set, and that pretty much sealed my obsession for me.

I did, in fact, move over to Sega once the Genesis became popular, but I went back for the N64 and Gamecube. Sadly, ever since then it's been more about Xbox and PlayStation for me. However, my love for Nintendo runs deep, and I still go back and play those old consoles every now and then. I did buy the NES Classic, and played it with my girlfriend, who is in her mid 20s and didn't get to experience the NES originally. Also, I am getting a Nintendo Switch, mostly because the thing just looks so, so sweet.

That's pretty much me in a nutshell. Nice to meet you all, and I do plan on being an active member of this board. Thanks!
