Really sorry to hear about your dad a few years ago. He just got in with the wrong crowd, but all the money he made he did it for you and Holly.
Welcome fellow Bostonian. I grew up in East Boston myself, but live in Saugus now.

Nice! I actually live in the next town over, Melrose. The thrift shops are all yours my friend hahaha. I went by once or twice but found nothing of interest. I have it in the back of my mind that there is a conspiracy with local retro store owners to give them first tabs on all good finds. Maybe im paranoid! Have you been over to sudden impact in Winthrop? Great inventory but kind of high prices over there.

Thanks. We didnt care about the money. We just wanted our dad. That damn crystal blue persuasion.

First off of course I was only kidding, in case you couldn't tell. I have slowed down big time going by the thrift shops around here. Its just not what it used to be, nowhere near. Seems they have all caught on to what everything is worth, unfortunately. I see good stuff on the shelves regularly, but they are always prices at or above Ebay levels and naturally they just sit and collect dust.
Also yeah I have checked out Sudden Impact. Its a cool little store, but I agree his prices are not at all competitve and the only time he has any rare heavy hitters they are usually repros. One thing I do like there though is his 3 for $10 commons wall. I stop in from time to time just to pick up a few commons that I need. Getting harder though as I have pretty much all that I want.
Lately I do best with ad sites like Craigslist, OfferUp, LetGo, etc. But even that is tough. When you're not struggling trying to even get good communication from a seller, you're fighting the insane competition around here. You really need to be checking all hours of the day everyday. Actually bummed out right now because I just missed a great deal on a lot in Woburn. Ad was only up for a few hours but by the time I got in touch with the seller they were already meeting someone else. That's how it goes!
Welcome man! Get Rekt!
That's gonna be the word of the month here, isn't it.

Unless something better comes up, probably.

Good store but I haven't been there in ages, it's only an hour away but I'm never in the area. Didn't know about the 3 for $10 wall either, I'll have to check it out next time I'm there. Not enough game stores around Quincy

There aren't a lot of stores period. I can't wait for yard sale and flea market season to start again, its always this time of year with the cold where it starts getting really hard to find anything good.
