I've been super busy with work etc. but I just had to do this contest because Mario 3 turns 27 years old this month. Can you guys believe that? Amazing. The game is probably older than a decent amount of members here at NA. lol. This is actually the very first contest that I've participated here on NA and it turned out to be very fun and challenging. I didn't qualify on my first run. On my second run I qualified and made it to the World 3 Airship. I was on pins and needles through many parts of the run, especially any time I was near pits or lava or when I was small Mario. I hated playing the autoscroll levels where one bad jump meant end of the run. I was freaking out on the desert level with the sun chasing me because I was small. I was also scared on the water levels where the big fish attack meant an insta-death. Finally on the World 3 airship I was Firey Mario and I hit a cannonball or bullet bill ( I forget which one), and I was freaking out as small Mario. I was afraid the screen scroll would kill me and I ran and accidentally jumped into an engine flame to end my run. Doh! My final score was 486,450.

Man I hate that guy for some reason, he was in an episode of Next Generation and he was all up on Deanna Troi I was like...GET AWAY FROM MY WOMAN BITCH.
After I saw Gloves' score I wondered how the heck he got it... still wondering, haha.
I knew I could crack 1M if I had a decent run.... Felt good to make it through the game. I knew it was possible to beat without dying, as each level isn't THAT hard... but putting it all together through 8 Worlds was tough.
I've never no deathed this one before, haha. Never even tried. A bit scary at times. I thought for sure the Hammer Bros/Plant Bros... (Planter Bros.?) in World 7 were going to get me. A couple small Mario's in that World.
