Picked up two PlayStation 4 + PSVita kiosks today
Three weeks ago I was peckish to grab a Wii U kiosk from GameStop now that the system is dead and the retailers are throwing them out. However I was two weeks too late. Most stores in the Dallas area had someone come take most of them. I did however have one of my contacts give me a tip that two PlayStation 4 kiosks were recently decommissioned because the PS4's inside were faulty. Well today I got the call to come pick them up.
Behold in all their glory.
My only concern is how to mount a TV because it doesn't look like a standard mount. I'm thrilled that they power up and the lights work. Now I just need to buy at least one PS4. LOL I may be interested in trading one for an XBOX 360 kiosk someday. But for now I got some work to do cleaning them up and figuring out the TV thing.
Oh, and where is the kiosk thread so I can get listed and my badge.

I didn't see a photo of the Vita kiosk. Are those on the way out now? I need to get one! I'm a big Vita fan

Very nice! That's super awesome. Are the PS4 consoles in the kiosk different from the retail console? I was lucky enough to get a Wii U kiosk a few weeks ago. Those things are HEAVY!

The PS4's you see under the glass are dummy non-functional units. The actual working PS4 units would go inside. Also if you look at the left wing closely on either of them you'll see where the PSVita mounts.

*update*
Image attached of the remote and a look at the brackets.
I'm screwed if I cannot get and brackets for this to mount a TV. Hopefully I'm going to talk to a local Sony rep in the next week or two to see how I can order these or if he has any I can get. I'm also going to contact that company who made them today. I'm a little worried about calling the hotline number on the kiosk just in case they go ape shit and tell me I shouldn't have them. LOL
Ok so my email to the company who manufactured these kiosks has gone unanswered so consider that source for my missing parts now closed. One of the game stores has a manager who will give my contact information to their Sony rep for whom the game store manager says is "a cool guy". So in the meantime I'm waiting for that and also debating on whether to call the hotline number on the back still... On a positive note that same game store manager stated he will let me take their PS4 kiosk when it gets decommissioned as well as their Wii U one as well--and at a minimum take the TV mount from the PS4 one if I cannot get the whole thing. The XBOX One kiosks get picked up by Microsoft apparently so I'll never get one of those which sucks because that's really the one I want. I'll take a 360 one as a trade at some point but the XBOX One is the kiosk that's #1 on my list.
I'll add pictures of the inside of each of these two, curious that one of these still has the PS4 controller security cable and power box.
My PS2 kiosk is also up for trades if anyone is interested
Very nice, I don't remember seeing that particular kiosk in stores before. I have a PS2 Kiosk and even that display has the fake Dummy unit behind the glass and the real one operating underneath. Pretty weird that they still continue that practice to this day (a shame too cause they could make the units so much more lighter with the extra room).
