lol, i played most of the way through the remake and only stopped cuz i'm playing it 2 player with the girlfriend and she got back into WOW So i never see her anymore.
I did some digging. It seems I remembered incorrectly or inflated it in my mind. You said that the Ys games are not amazing in the unpopular opinions thread. You'll have to forgive me because those types or threads are usually regulated to just shitting on things so that's probably why I took it that way.
Just got a copy from GameStop. It says Adventurer's Edition so not sure if that's standard or first print run. Comes with a double sided poster and 3 cards.

Lol, it definitely helps keep me up to date and informed on things i may have missed like the BlazBlue collectors edition. Really enjoy this thread! The only 1 i have book marked so i don't miss any new Switch game news! sweet cases by the way!!
Here's a little size comparison between the PS4 and Switch Ys VIII collectors editions. Harvest moon for scale as well. Slightly bigger than Harvest moon and a lot smaller than the ps4 one. Definitely wish they would have at least done a Steelbook for the Switch version. To not include a Steelbook or the bookends and charge the same amount for the addition of a letter opener is kinda wack. Still excited to have it for Switch tho and glad they at least put out a collectors edition for it!

You guys who gave up on Breath of the Wild are missing out. Just in the last twenty minutes I was skipping across some ice pillars on the lake, looking for treasure I could dredge up. Sure enough, there was a couple chests directly underneath the middle of the bridge, one of which held a very nice sword. As I'm pulling them up I notice some noise off in the distance, and look up to see one of the GARGANTUAN dragons flying high up above me. Luckily I just had pulled out an ultra long range bow from a chest hiding in a nook under a huge slab of rock, and got it ready. Even though the dragon had to have been 200 yards above me, my arrow arc'ed true and nailed him, dislodging a scale and sending it flying down to earth on the other side of the lake. I hopped over to it, grabbed it, and then climbed the cliff it had landed below. Up above was a dead tree that I decided to climb to get a vantage point of where I was. Once on top I noticed it was hollowed out in the center, which was odd, so I look around, and sure enough there is a spherical rock down on the ground. I jump down to it, and notice it is actually chained to the tree. So I levitate it up, drop it in the notch, and *boom* Korok seed.
That was all in 5 minutes. Every single direction at all times holds a story like that it feels like.
I just added the remainder of the regular releases for 2017 to the database. I will go through soon and try to add the releases for 2018 and give an update soon.
Actually....if anyone wants to help me keep up the switch database -- please send me a PM and I will share a link to a collaborative spreadsheet for keeping up with accurate information, which I can then get into the NA Database here.
This would really help me out and allow people without the Database access to help keep things up-to-date.

I purchased some case protectors from retro protection and they for great. Here are some examples, I also got one for my fire Emblem special edition.
