    Once I get home I'm going to make a new thread. I picked up some stuff I'm excited about. They also had the Dragon ball game for $20. I was tempted but passed.

    Yeah, I passed on Wolfenstein because I want to wait for the Switch version.

    I feel ya, my girlfriend really wanted wolfy though so we bit, I was on the fence about Dragon ball as well but it just came out for 60 so I figured it was worth a go.

    So... did anyone read the art book included in Axiom Verge? Most of the proceeds from the sale of this game are going towards medical expenses of the creator's kid. God damn...

    He had a bad case of jaundice and then developed another condition called kernicterus. So he has or could have severe brain damage. This is some heavy shit.

    I mean, even more reason I'm happy I bought this. The art book kind of says he didn't want that to be the focus? I'm paraphrasing, but it seemed like he didn't want to guilt people into buying so it wasn't made super public.

    There is also an address in there that says people can additionally donate or help if they want. If anyone is interested, I'll post a link.

    Walmart was completely stocked with Switch stuff today, including around 12 Breath of the Wild Explorer's Editions. I would have to imagine their stock will be pretty lean by the time it gets closer to Christmas, but I figured the day after Black Friday, it would have been picked clean already.

    Totally scaled back my Switch collecting goals (I thought all LEs would be fairly achievable until the NISA rpgs came pelting in, not to mention the Japanese Fire Emblem Warriors packages), but couldn't resist keeping the Rime LE pre-order on Amazon Spain and then going for the Japanese BotW Explorer's Edition. Europe has an intriguing Sega "double pack" of PuyoPuyo Tetris and Sonic Forces, but so far it just looks like they're essentially cello'd together (this is on Amazon France). I'm disappointed Mario Odyssey never got a LE in the same format as the main BotW LE - it would be good if their highest pedigree games got this trestment just to emphisise the prestige.

    I've always thought it was kind of an interesting concept but I'm not the party/dancing type. We started with my daughter playing. Then my wife helped her. Then I joined it. It's a pretty good time just fucking around (especially if you're drinking). And I'm fine with modern pop music so it's not like it was overly offensive or anything. But yeah, we'll probably get some decent play time from it.



    My daughter even asked to play it earlier.

    There's one European listing for a physical Sonic Mania to come out 26 January via coolshop.co.uk. Given the placeholder artwork, I'm inclined to think this is not happening, but you never know.



    I've hardly any time to game right now, so my LA Noire, XCX2 (LE, standard & pro controller) are all being delivered to my parents place for me to open at Christmas. Also ordered a promo box for LA Noire from the US, which might look quite neat for display purposes. I'm really intrigued by this game, but have avoided looking at footage. It's currently £32 on Amazon UK, which seemed quite decent.

    Edit: ^^ the Switch is going to have so many of these first/possibly-only print "limited editions" - then there are the Limited Run projects, which are going to be a nightmare (I'm still not convinced they won't squeeze some Wii U releases out along the line too).

    So what's this about Amazon UK having Stern Pinball Arcade out in December as a physical release? Am I going to have to find some UK retailer that will mail this to the US? I may have Switch but I'm in recent years more into arcade and pinball stuff.
