That Xeno box looks about like the one the guy in GameStop tried to push. Thought it was funny that the box was beat up and the guy was trying to tell me it has a lot of great stuff but he didn't even know what it came with.
I've only really just started but I'm enjoying it. Xenoblade Chronicles, to me, felt a bit bland and generic as far as aesthetic and story went. Combat seemed deep but I didn't get far enough to be adept at it. With X, and now 2, I get a sense of wonder from what's happening. The visuals are bright and futuristic. I dunno, the aesthetic to this is appealing. I'm also enjoying what little of the combat I've experienced. Seems like it will be a nice pick up and play RPG.

I complained saying that I collect and wanted one that wasn't beaten up. The guy was pretty cool about it though, he had bought a copy for himself earlier in the day with a pristine box, so he swapped with me and took the beaten up box.
But I just dont understand why it's so hard to pack games without crushing them.
Is the Super Mario Odyssey Switch Console bundle suppose to be limited? I haven't seen them restocked lately or aren't being sold at some stores anymore.

I have only seen the alternate cover now. I am pretty sure Nicalis said this was a first run only cover. Early pages in this thread might talk about it more

Haha thanks! I think I had 2 or 3 games by the end of summer but between the weekly releases and Black Friday my collection has really blown up.

I know you didn't technically ask me, but here are my thoughts Keep in mind I am about 8 - 9 hours in.
I didn't play much of the first two games but I know a bit of the premise and it doesn't seem like you need to know the prequels to play this.
Graphics are great, especially when you get to some of the expansive scenery, it's amazing.
The one thing that REALLY stands out to me is the music, it feels very epic and matches what is happening on screen perfectly.
Story is good and pretty easy to follow. I'm sure it will get more complex as JRPGs always seem to do.
Most importantly it is fun. I can't wait to keep going back to the game once I put it down.
