Wondering if anyone has a flyback for a Zenith  CD15MNTC1 monitor. I can't seem to find a part number and Zenith (of course) discontinued it long ago. I need it to get my SNES kiosk monitor going again. Any help or links (OEM or aftermarket) would be appreciated

  • Hey Chad, from talking with lojack, I believe him and I are having a similar distortion problem with the SNES Kiosk monitor. For me personally, the distortion effects the left side of the monitor and gets worse as various objects pass by the screen such as the check point markers . From your experience, can you give us any insight into what you think the problem is? For me personally, when I first received the kiosk the problem started about 10-15 mins into playing. But now it happens as soon as I turn the kiosk on. I did plug an LCD tv into the kiosk to troubleshoot and there was no distortion, which leads me to believe it is the monitor. If you need any other pictures let me know. Here are pictures for reference.

  • Forgot to add, here is the sticker from the back of the monitor if it helps you pull info from regarding the monitor specs.

If you don’t want to start removing things send me the entire monitor unit and I will will repair, recondition and analyze it. I don’t "just fix" it. It will come back running the way it should with the goal being assembly line roll out functionality.

Looks like tearing where the monitor chassis will need to be serviced. You could pop the shell off the monitor and take a picture of the monitor board itself to be able to determine if you can send in just the monitor board loose without the tube.

There is a repair form on my website. Print it out, fill it out, send it in and I will take care of it from there. I am 99% sure your monitor will not require nor need a new flyback installed. keep the oem original in there if its working without issue.
