New to the forum

Hello,

I am forunately able to still enjoy the NES games I own on my android. My question is (if it is ok to ask here) is what is the current best emulator out there for Android right now? I have a Note 4 and a Note Pro tablet if that helps. I see a lot of old posts but nothing new so I thought that I would ask the experts here.

Thanks!

on my nvidia shield portable I use nes.emu and I love it
  • Welcome! I don't know the best but I've been using Nostalgia NESLite, always funny to see peoples reaction when they realize you're stomping Goombas instead of Snapchatting
  • I am currently using nes.emu and I love it... just didn't know if there was anything else out there that's better. Course in this hobby you like to stick with what you like.I used to use jnes on my pc...but it won't run it with W10 anymore. Still...my 9 and soon to be 6 year old girls play these games and love them. They sure aren't like the new stuff out there...and no disrespect but you cant beat 8 bit
  • Welcome! Unfortunately I haven't used Android since I broke my OnePlus One, but I hope you find a good emu.
  • I've got Nostalgia.NES Lite on my phone and it's pretty awesome.

I use John NES lite on my nvidia shield portable. I like it because unlike some of the others, you can tweak or fully hide the location of the screen input (since the shield portable has a built in joypad)

I used NES.emu for a bit, and it was great too, but either I couldn't hide the onscreen inputs or something else bugged me
  • I am not a big fan of emulation personly. Welcome to NintendoAge.
  • Enjoy every BIT of it and support physical media when it comes to the NES.
