  • Do you know how to replace batteries in SNES games? If so I have a rather beaten up, but still working, copy of Donkey Kong 2 for SNES. Someone took out the battery for some reason, though, so needs replacing. I'd let it go super cheap if you're interested.
  • I got a few of those, and i'm on the island. You ever come to Vic?

  • You guys are gonna get this thread locked, wayyy too much sexyness up in here
  • Looks like a lot of these could be well served with an Everrdrive or two, since you already own the games anyway. Good excuse to get one for your own convenience, MIRITE?

I'd have to find my security screw bit, but shouldn't be a problem. Does it work without the battery? Please PM me with a price to ship to V8Z 4H4. Thanks.

Dang, we were just down there yesterday. I'm in Ladysmith, we go every once in a while. I'll contact you before heading down next time. Or maybe I'll find a reason to go anyways.

I'm not familiar with Everrdrive. I'm not very techie to be honest. I did think about emulation, but it's just not the same. I have an old bubble tv down in the basement with my NES, SNES, and N64 all hooked up to it. He's pretty excited about it. My Super Mario World box is pretty beat up so I pulled out that cart and we've been furiously hammering on it. But he (me) really wants to play Mario Kart. My box is so mint though. I'd rather own the carts and feel them snap down into the machine and hold the controllers while we both laugh and play. I also think he's really curious about how I use to play them. Some of them are originals from when I was a kid. Those ones really interest him. Those ones aren't mint though of course.

Then it's perfect! Once it's set up then anyone can use it. First-time setup is also a breeze thanks to SmokeMonster. You just copy his ROM set to the SD card and it includes the Everdrive system files and everything.

About the techiest thing is just making sure you order the right one: For the SNES Super EverDrive you'd want to get the one with a DSP chip installed since Super Mario Kart is on your wishlist.
