Just got REKT by Jimmy John's
Busy day at work today so I figure hell, I want a sub sandwich and I can't really leave so let's get a couple delivered.
SuperJimtendo and I figure out what we want and I call them up for delivery. The guy on the other line tell me "sorry, you're out of our delivery range"
we are less that 2 miles away!
Fucking REKT!

But only the south most 1/8th of it.
Rekt.
What really annoyed me was that at the time my wife and I at their ate least once a week. Every time I walked in the door to pick up some sandwiches, I would politely tell the store manager that they needed to tell corporate-whomoever-manager to include our neighborhood.
It never happened. I wasn't annoying or anything. It was kind of a running joke cause they knew how ridiculous the rule was but if they broke the rule and got caught, hire ups had a zero-tolerance policy and would let the deliverer go.

I was expecting a "I shit my pants" story with the 1.63 miles was too far. Very disappointed. Would not read again.
Yeah, Jimmy John's makes some amazing sandwiches but they have absolutely NO tolerance to delivering outside of their zone. My wife and I lived about 1.5 miles from a JJ's. Whoever setup the store's boundaries included the neighborhood next to ours, but ours was excluded. I could literally walk 2 minutes and stand in front of a home that they would deliver the sandwich too.

Become neighborly with the house that's a 2 minute walk away and have it delivered there?

Yeah, yeah, I'd considered that but that would involve human interaction with people I don't know, plus it always gave me an excuse to go into a really good Goodwill next door and look for junk.
Prob called 5 mins before delivery time ended or are a no tipper
It was 130 in the afternoon today and I always tip 25% not that they'd know that cuz they won't deliver here.
Always heard of the Jimmy John's commercials on the radio, but have never seen nor been to one yet. They any good?
I wouldn't trust Richard's opinion at all.
If you couldn't too bad, you missed a hella good sammich...

Wish I could tell you!
if only 1.6x miles away, I'm sure you could spare the 5 minutes to drive there and back.

Dibellas are way better if those are down your way. Although you should have Firehouse Subs by you, and those are fantastic!

I don't get diarrhea. Way to much fiber in my diet for that !

Don't have a Dibellas, but we do have a Firehouse Subs! And I agree, they are pretty great!

They're as good as a $4 bread and lettuce sandwich can be

Depends on how much you like meat.

Now, now... the bread is quite tasty.

Four bucks? Good lord, I need to move out there. I don't think I've ever gotten out of there for less than 9.
