Nintendo 64 retail shelf Kay Bee Toys questions

Scored this locally in pretty good shape, lights work, has the doors and shelves, etc...  Does anyone have a picture of what it looked like originally?  Any idea/leads on where I could find the N64 artwork that was up top before my man decided to turn into a Ohio sports shrine lol?



I've seen a couple past comments about it but couldn't find a specific thread or discussion.  And apparently a small tv is supposed to be up top in the empty space?  Just running demo stuff I assume?  Any info in general would be appreciated, I don't know much about it and would be happy to learn.

    The Game Chaser found one of these. Search YT and you'll probably see the video where they restore it. Can't remember condition.

    Thanks, yeah I found it but it just shows them picking it up and power washing it. No finished product or anything....unless that's in a future episode.

    I'm surprised I can't find any pictures of this thing. I have to assume there's quite a few out there. Plenty were destroyed I'm sure but if every store had one then that's a decent number to start with.

    I have other shots, but this was the best in the binder.  It probably doesn't help much, but that pic was taken 1/8/2000

    ^ That's actually pretty neat!



    You can find peg boards and hooks for them and possibly get a new graphic for the front, but the TV kiosk might be a bit tougher to get a hold of. If you can't find the original stuff for it, I don't think it'd take much makeshift parts to restore it.

    No that helps quite a bit, thank you Otto! Like I said I couldn't find any pictures of it period.

    I'm sure finding an original sign and tv won't be a problem lol. Although I might be able to find someone to make the sign. I'll take a better look tonight but it's basically just a piece of plexiglass that slides into place from right to left.

    Anyone else have any info? Have one themselves? Know someone that has one? Or hell, heard of a guy that knows someone who's uncle used to work for KayBee and put these displays together?



    I have to decide how expensive to go with my repro sign and I'm basically basing that on how likely it will be for me to find an original someday.

    Also, I'm the guy who did Billy's decals for his homemade cabinet...if you wanted to get just the decals done for the art work (and then you could apply the decals to whatever you decide to put up there), let me know and maybe we can work out a trade or something.

    The WoN decal? Nice work, I have a local print shop that can do an acrylic sign if I decide to go that's route. Just hoping to find someone with an original and possibly get some close up pics assuming I don't come across one for sale.
