SNES 1CHIP 01 02 03 JR

I use HD retrovision cables with my snes setup and had a question. I luckily found a snes jr for $40 bucks the other day which I understand is 1chip (revision 3) aka the best. I have two snes regular 1 chips. the 01 and actually an 03!!! I understand with the 03 you need to mod it for something called csync, but not sure what that does so my hd retrovision cables dont work in the jr...yet...thats ok, but what i found odd was my snes 1chip-03 does work.... I thought it had the same board as the jr and same problem that needed solving???

For the original SNES 1chip 03, it still has s-video and rgb enabled (RGB only luma sync not csync). Snes mini is a 1chip 03, but with svideo and rgb disabled. Oddly enough my snes 1chip-02 won't do csync rgb but does luma.

right, good link but my confusion and question was why my 1chip-03 snes works but not my 1chip-03 snes jr

The SNN-CPU-01 is another revision post 1-Chip-03 I'm sure there are several differences.
