Nes game I'm looking for the name

Been trying to find this one particular nes game where you run around this house or castle killing vampires. I remember you keep stabbing them with a knife or sword until they drop. Has anyone heard of anything like this?

    Yeah I don't think its that one lol. Man this game is really eluding me. It was definitely a side scroll game and I believe it had a day and night transition. Remember playing this game in the early 90's.

    Is it a game where the lights go out and you can't see anything and you have to go up and down stairs. Looks kind of similar to Bugs Bunny's Crazy Castle?

    Castlequest (has the stabbing, though vampires is a stretch.)



    Castlevania II (has the day/night thing, but only vampire is Dracula.)



    Illuminator from Action 52 (has vampires, though you don't stab them.)



    Frankenstein (side scroller, but you club monsters. Not many vampires.)

    Yeah seems something of that nature! You do go up and down stairs and doors I believe.

    Yes I did! Loved playing this one and never could find it for obvious reasons lol. The sad part is now I don't have a Sega master system   looks like I'm going to be picking one up.
