Super Mario themed Happy Meal toys at McDonalds

Im surprised nobody has posted this yet, but for the month of May they have Mario toys in Happy Meals for the launch of Mario kart 8 on the switch.  Im getting doubles of a few to make them into christmas tree ornamens!

    Yeah, I went there yesterday to get a quick lunch and saw them. I considered it.

    My Fiance picked up a set for me on Tuesday last week when they launched. They are some of the best cheap plastic toys ever made for a "Happy Meal" Toy Line.

    YEa you can get one with a happy meal, or they sell the toys for $1-1.60.  Ive been to several different McDonalds and they charged different prices, its been kinda weird.

    Yep.   They should sell them to you for anywhere from $1.29-1.99 each with a food purchase.



    Just ask how many different ones they have, and don't do it during a lunch or dinner rush.

    Yeah she knows a friend in Highschool that runs a Mcdonalds. but yes you could always just go up and ask to purchase the toys without the meal. Thats What I did for the Mario Kart 8 Toys a couple years ago. (nowhere near as nice as these by the way)

    They will usually sell them to me without food purchases because I grab coffee from there quite often.

    A while ago they had Mario Kart figures (Mario Kart 8 maybe) and they didn't have all of them at a single location. My girlfriend was calling around at different McDonalds' saying she wanted these for our "son" (we dont have a son)

    McDonald's used to charge for an extra sauce for about a year some time ago. That really sucked.

    I still remember eating 4 Happy Meals a day during the Beanie Baby craze. They wouldn't sell you the toys separate at the time; it got so bad that they were offering food vouchers instead of the food so it wouldn't get thrown away.

    Our mcdonalds charge 1.99 per toy. So kinda high.



    Might aa well just eat the food for 1.50 more. Thise cold apple slices are good.

    Yeah, I already got Invincible Mario, Yoshi, and the Mario that makes the jump sound when you pick it up. GamesFromTheGrave has been posting about them on YouTube. I know he has at least one I haven't gotten (Luigi Launcher). I prefer to get them with the meal because it usually substitutes for a much larger meal (portion control) and only costs $3.

    I got this one with my daughter's happy meal recently. I didn't know it made sound and we were on our way home. All of the sudden, I start hearing a repeated "whoop, whoop" sound the toy makes and get nervous because it sounds just like the start of a police siren. Took me a second to realize I wasn't getting pulled over

    I got the Luigi toy. Meh. Was about the right amount of food that I needed so that was decent. $3.99 for the hamburger. Not terrible.
