Where Do We Go From Here?
It's been close to 4 years but we managed to keep the contest going and babywuchki (out of the kindness of his heart and with NA magic) paid off the gauntlet thrown down to NA users. It was a fun and yes, a tedious ride to make it all the way through. But we did it. We also got close enough to causing issues with NA that the mods were compelled to shut the thread down. I don't take issue with that. I respect it actually. Now I'm left feeling like we should start this thing again. Don't be mad mods, you've got 3+ years before we could cause issues again. If I wasn't broke or had anything in my collection to offer that would keep NAers coming back for years to post then I would do so right now. If it helps start up a new, seemingly unachievable, contest then I'll offer up something right now. First thing that comes to mind is a dead Atari 7800 Galaga cart and a working aftermarket Atari 7800 AC adapter. If that get's the ball rolling then I'm in. But we'll for sure need someone willing to offer something more for it to work. So for those of you who hate to see the thread shutdown, let's brainstorm some ideas and get a similar thread going again.
