McDonald's Mario Happy Meal toys

Today I picked up the recent Mcdobalds 2017 Mario toy dosplay. I would like to eventually pick up the 1989 display, What other years did McDonald's promote Mario or other Nintendo happy meal toys?

    Doing a quick search , Looks like mcdonalds has had a few  mario sets in the last few years (2014 mario set, 2014 mario kart 8 set, 2016 set, and 2017 set). Im sure there have been more since the 90s





    Late 90s their were nintendo 64 toys at taco bell



    Burger king also had nintendo toys in the 2000s. The superstar ones. they had them again with the wii theme.



    after a quick search burger king also had a wii u theme toys, and wendys had some sets





    Burger king also had those very popular pokemon ball things and pokemon a few other times

    Im sure you can get one for $100 on ebay at some point. (Maybe a little later since they are fresh on everyones mind at the moment) But come October/Novemeber Im sure they will drop back down and you will see them floating on ebay just like before.

    Well, I was able to get both the display and the poster, but it looks like I'm gonna have to drive an hour to pick it up, as my local mcdonalds threw them away!!!!!!!!!   The shit we'll do for Nintendo merchandise! lol

    Thank you so much for this post! I have been going nuts this past month trying to track down older sets. Iv only been able to find the Mario 3 set from 1990, the Mario Kart 8 set for 2014 and the current set. I'm pretty sure between 1990 and 2014 they had to have done something.

    2006 they had "Take The Mario Challange" set. Burger King had some Nintendo characters in a 2002 set.



    I'm sure there's more but so far that's all I know since I own some of those toys.
