Making it to 89 only to die of cancer is a hell of a thing. He wasn't the most popular Bond but he fit with the times and I still remember reruns of The Saint.

    Roger's best Bond film was For Your Eyes Only, followed closely by The Spy Who Loved Me.

    He was a pretty good James Bond IMO.

    He actually used to live in Switzerland until his death, and he did some PSAs on burns here.

    I have always found that he was a pretty good 007.
