Final Fantasy Distant Worlds

So the wife and I are visiting Portland next weekend to see Final Fantasy Distant Worlds.  It's a symphony that plays music from all the Final Fantasy games and has visuals and cinema from the games as they play.  We have never been and are super excited.  I was just wondering if anyone on NA has been and what are you thoughts/experience with it?

    It's hella' fun

    Symphony shows are awesome ( especially with video game tunes )



    Went to 'video games live ' and that was great.



    Would recommend the Zelda one going on

    I've been to a Distant Worlds concert and I have to say, it was very well done and I really enjoyed it. Yes there is some fan service and silly references here and there, but more importantly the musicians are high quality and the show is very well put-together.



    Do you know if Susan Calloway will be at this one? She did some vocals for a few songs and did a great job.



    Overall, I think you'll really enjoy it! It was even better than I expected and a great show!

    Just went to the Zelda one on Saturday night. Was fantastic!

    They came down to New Orleans like a month ago and I missed them because I didn't know about them until it was too late. I'll probably never get another chance to see them.

    Nah you should be ok.  I feel like New Orleans is a great city for tours.

    I went to NYC last September and Uematsu and his longtime arranger were there together for a piano opera performed by the arranger. The meet and greet was awesome and I got them to sign some of my favorite Final Fantasy sheet music! Uematsu doesnt make it all the Distant World concerts but Arni Roth makes it worth it

    Damn I'm super jealous! That must have been awesome meeting Uematsu. Got any pics of that sheet music? I'm ready to drool all over myself

    Oh yea, that would move so fast.  I bet they would look beautiful to.  Artwork would need to be included in each game.
