Probably not a good idea to make a thread out of. Wouldn't want to feed the Google any more than need be, but couldn't ignore empire's comment in the fidget spinner thread.



I'm curious to hear or see some MS paint illustrations of some of youse guys invention ideas if you had your way. Anything goes! The sillier the better!

    I would invent a doomsday machine that when turned on, would cause all the breasts in the world to become A cups sized!

    Then I would hold the world ransom for [Dr. Evil]ONE MILLION DOLLARS[/Dr. Evil].

    Star Trek style replicator/holodeck. Honestly, anything and everything you can ever imagine. I love Trek, but honestly after TNG, I never understood how anyone ever got anything done... They had the technology to provide virtually unlimited power, the ability to covert that energy into anything: food, drink, clothes, tools, and any sort of possession you could imagine. And, then that same technology allows them to experience any location from going to a movie to climbing a mountain, at any time in history (or in even in completely fantasy worlds), with any persons they wish with AI that is totally convincing... I mean, you could literally lock yourself alone in a 100 ft. holodeck and live out the rest of your days with a richer, happier, healthier quality of life than most any of us will ever get to experience.

    Most of my silly invention ideas involve strapping a cellphone to something that exists already.



    Also thought desks where the whole top was e ink with a layer you could use dry erase markers on would be cool--kinda like smart boards but in desk form.

    I wanted to make a site that would coordinate crowdsourcing the gathering verifying and summarising of evidence of political corruption to rank politicians corruption and help people make informed decisions at election time.. I even got started on it but then I found out it was boring, I was too lazy and apparently I dont care about all the injustice in the world as much I would like to think I do

    The only trick I know is the ol' wet paper towel wrap around the can/bottle before putting in the freezer.
