That's pretty arrogant. This is the internet, leave your expectations at the door.

If you had posted a video, I'd have watched it. You should have also just posted pictures as you asked others to do, to begin with.

No I shouldn't have just posted pictures. If you were standing beside me and looking at my GC collection, you'd realize there's simply too many games, accessories, merchandise, etc. to show in pictures. And it's been growing since 2001.

Also, I've posted pictures of some of my other stuff in other topics and people usually just ignore me.
  • Here is a new, proper direct capture video of my GC HDMI adapter. This is running natively at 480p, however, I rendered the video at 720p to ensure that YouTube would properly display the 60fps that F-Zero runs at. When posting the videos at native 480p, YouTube was encoding them at 30fps. That said, it doesn't really matter that I rendered it at 720p, as people's displays would be upscaling that 480p video anyway. This thing is truly gorgeous and looks even better in person and sure beats the hell out of paying for overpriced component cables.

  • Man that looks good, hopefully that plug n play thing goes up for sale again
  • You can buy it from his site now for 100 bucks plus shipping.
  • The Hanshin tigers and gundam consoles look great.

There's currently a listing up on ebay now. Otherwise, you can buy it straight from him at his blog, by using the contact link at the top.

Here's the Ebay listing. These went live earlier this morning and there's only one left.

  • I thought I had every version of Resident Evil games but apparently there were more on the game cube than I thought not to mention obscure handhelds and the N64.
  • While we're on the subject of Resident Evil games, I don't think the GC is really quite as "kiddie" as a lot of people thought:

That is just a small sample of the Teen and Adult games on the console.
  • When you layout those games it starts looking like a PS2 collection based on artwork alone.

I don't think everyone's really aware that there are a lot of adult games for the "lunchbox", so people have always assumed that it's just a kids console. But those are definitely GC games. Even that Collector's Edition release of Splinter Cell Chaos Theory is the GC version. Like I said, though, that picture only has a small sample of the adult games on the console. It doesn't include other notable M rated games like Eternal Darkness, Metal Gear Solid: TTS, Gun, TimeSplitters: Future Perfect. Mortal Kombat: Deception, and Hitman 2: Silent Assassin (since I obviously ran out of room in the picture).
  • Got my memory card in the mail today. Played a bit of SSX 3 and it was great. I'll put some time into my newly acquired cube.
  • Just got me another pokemon box. The preciouses are strong with the gamecube
  • Never mind. Screw it.
  • So, I found out I did not bring my GameCube games with me in my move to Washington so now I'm down to:

    Bloodrayne

    F-Zero GX

    Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance

Star Wars Rogue Squadron III: Rebel Strike

    SSX 3

    Zapper

Was really hoping to play Mario Sunshine again. Maybe I'll snag a copy somewhere and a Wave Bird. My shitty GameStop controller sucks.

Is there a particular reason why you are being so sensitive in every thread? This thread has 136 responses and 850 views. Which is WAY more than most posts get around here. And despite you being abrasive and to be totally honest, kind of rude, people are still trying to be nice to you and give you responses and keep your thread going. Stop taking things so personal. People are not ignoring you or snubbing you. It is sunday, there is just about no foot traffic here on sunday. And not everyone is going to be interested in everything you post. That is okay though, don't let it upset you.

  • Yep, I'm sorry for discussing and appreciating the GameCube rather than slobbering over a pic of 4 GameCubes.

We didn't beg him for more. Our bad.

Sometimes I forget we're all here to get validation for our collections. Won't let it happen again, promise!

Not only have I not been begging (though you can keep making things up if you'd like; won't make a difference), but it's already been established that no one's *actually* interested in seeing my collection and will continue to simply ignore me whether I post a teaser picture or a video showing the whole collection. Removing a picture and saying "I quit" doesn't mean I'm begging anyone, it just means I've gotten the message that no one's really interested (which is fine by me). But I guess getting the message and dropping this whole "showing the collection" conversation must be a crime. My bad.
  • Dude, just stop complaining and throwing a hissy fit because people aren't continually commenting on things. It really comes across as childish and needy. People can look and not comment. You're making a big deal about not getting constant feedback.
  • This is the biggest Nintendo collecting forum on the internet, we've seen it all. Post pics, everyone likes pics. If people don't reply it doesn't mean no one cares. We're all in this thread for the same reason, we all love the Gamecube.
  • Alright guys, I'm tired of sitting in the floor to play my GameCube. What is a good price to pick up a wave bird for? I generally see them for $30+, is that a fair price or should I look for better deals? Additionally, is there anyone that would like to part with one?

Yeah they're very popular. I'd pay 30ish for one personally.

Even if you lucked out finding one at a thrift store, they're often missing the receiver

I just got extension cables for my controllers. Yeah, wires suck, but I deal with enough batteries and recharging nonsense as it is, so extension cables fit my bill just great!
  • I gotta say the battery life on the wavebird is incredible. Cant remember the last time I had to switch them out.

I have not changed mine in over 10 years. The wavebird is the GOAT of controllers
  • I don't think having batteries inside something for 10 years is a great idea. Are you not scared of corrosion?
