Potential Undiscovered GBA Game CIB ??

I was going through my GBA games to catalog my inventory.  I came across Super Tetris Delux complete in box.  The code is the same as Pinball of the Dead.  I couldn't find info on this game anywhere.  I figured I would post here to share.

  • Have you played it yet? What's it like?

I'd guess it's a bootleg if the code matches another game
  • bootleg if code is same as Pinball
  • Any pics? Any indication of bootleg on box or manual? Any Dev or publisher markings? Very interesting
  • here are the pics...

Leaning toward bootleg/pirate.  The logo text on the plastic at the top of the cart is incorrect
  • According to this thread:

It is a bootleg of a homebrew game called Rotris.
  • Why would they go through all this trouble designing matching box and instructions? It not like it's a popular game like Pokemon.

Not popular? Tetris is the most well known videogame in the whole world. And even though it's bootleg, some pirates take their trade very seriously and put a lot of effort into their products.

Damn straight. NES homebrewers could learn something from them.

  • Its a bootleg since since the Gameboy Advance logo on the cart has deeper spacing between the letters.
  • you can tell by the box feel and the way the label looks on cart. I have a CIB Kien that also "never came out" with manual and such but it is a pirate. That logo is a dead giveaway (the Nintendo seal).
  • I guess the giveaway to me would be that isn't how you spell Deluxe.

Pics? I've only ever seen cart only bootlegs of this
  • Also the fact that the first line in the info on the back calls it Tetris Worlds and not Super Tetris Delux...
  • I always find it funny when someone spends so much time developing a box/manual/everything, but uses a code for another existing game. Code for Pinball, and UPC is for FIFA 2000. Oh well.
