Who has heard of Richard Dawkins

I asked my GF if she knew who Richard Dawson was and she replied "NO, but do you know who Richard Dawkins is" ? I asked her who it was after telling her all about Richard Dawson, and she told me. She seems to think that more people will know who Richard Dawkins is VS who Richard Dawson is! 

So let's hear it, who knows who (no googling)

    Richard Dawkins is kind of an internet phenomenon now. Though that has been fading. He really promotes atheism and popular science. Though before all of that God Delusion book fame I knew him from The Selfish Gene which is a really good book he wrote in the 70s. It coined the term "Meme" that all the kids are using now.

    I know who Richard Dawson is now that I searched google images. That guy from Hogan's Heroes.

    Dawson all the way. Maybe I just watched weird shows as a kid but I first saw him in reruns of Hogan's Heroes on Nick at Nite and then Family Feud. His ability to kiss other men's wives on the lips right in front of them will never be matched. Can't forget Match Game too. Damn, everyone should just put on the Game Show Network and watch some classic Richard Dawson.



    I've only recently heard of Dawkins while reading stuff on Rationalwiki or the South Park episode (only because someone else mentioned it).

    I know Richard Dawson from Running Man, and always trying to kiss the ladies on family feud. The other guy is a famous atheist.

    Having only read the OP and not going through the thread yet, I know Richard Dawson as the former host of the 'Family Feud,' and for his role in the Schwarzeneger classic 'The Running Man.' Do not know Richard Dawkins.
