No, but I am very lazy at selling games less than about 30 bucks as it's not really worth the effort unless I dump them in lots which I don't like doing due to lost revenue even if you are paying for convenience. Only doubles I keep are sealed which is about 3 games.
I keep hardware doubles usually in case I need parts or if one works better than the other, but I think I only have 1 game double, but it's such common trash nobody would want it. I don't get enough coming in to make dupes, otherwise I'd just trade them for stuff with people on here or just sell on eBay.
EDIT: If I could, I'd take a lot of your dupes of commons off your hands, because I'm missing like 650 NES titles.
I don't tend to keep dupes of anything except 60gb 1st Gen PS3's for some reason. I think it's probably because I got the YLOD on my original(still in pieces needing to be fixed...) and since it is a common problem I don't want to sell my spares in case...
i mean ill score big at a yard sale and if i resell im going to be in tge good. but then i test it all, get it all cleaned up and get like.. attached or sonething. like i dont need theese doubles but my motivation to sell isnt exactly a ball of fire lol.
Just send them to me, it will be cathartic. In return I will send you all of the Dan Marino cards
oh.. dan marino cards you say? throw in some ricky williams and you got a deal. and a gus ferotte.

I think keeping doubles is a common issue for any collector. Because often, we'd buy in lots with items we don't have combined with the common tripe that pretty much everyone else has.
The thread is misleading in a way, cos having dupes has nothing to do with hoarding. Hoarding is more to do with buying with no real intent other than to spend, and items are stockpiled all over the place, often the whole floor is littered with random items, and become environmental hazards! You can actually be a hoarder of 10,000 games with no doubles at all!
Another take is that the doubles highlight the fact reselling takes time and effort. If the rate of you buying is faster than you flip/resell, then good chance doubles and triples will bound to build in the collection!
Reselling doubles and breaking even or making it in the green on collection purchases is the best feeling about a score.
I cant relate to your situation at all. If you already have it, then wtf does an extra copy matter? Easiest decusion in the world is to let dupes go. In my head, thats the thrill. You add stuff to your collection , then you can flip it the next time you find it to keep other stuff you dont have and break even atleast
This is crazy talk to me. I'm very efficient and moving out my dupes, often as fast as I get them in. I'd rather have the cash to purchase new wants instead of sitting on multiples of the same game.

I know someone that wouldn't mind buying your duplicate games for cheap!
I only keep spare consoles in case the current one I am using becomes unfixable for some reason. I used to keep six spare PS2s as a frame of reference. That number is now down to 2 spare PS2s so I am improving. Storage is looking much better too.
Nope. I sell the stuff I don't want. Sometimes I'm lazy and keep it around for a bit, but I know it's going out as soon as I feel like doing it
This is me too. I only accumulate dupes when it's inconvenient to offload them, like right now. Gonna have a pretty sweet little clearance once I get the motivation to sort them all out though!

Yeah, I have piles of stuff. Just got more important things to do. Unless somebody comes to me saying I want blank, and I happen to have blank. Like DS games for example
I have started to keep dupes of some games, but it is because I simply feel they are undervalued compared to the "market value". If someone would trade me for some of those games, for something else I need for my collection, consider it done. But otherwise, no point imo of selling really rare games for little, when I feel they are undervalued.
For non-rares, I just try to clean those dupes out as fast as I can. If you're nice to me, I've even been known to clear out some of the junk I can't be hassled with for free to some mates, during those times when I do some spring cleaning.

I'm only interested in Tony Romo cards

After you've got them home and cleaned them and tested them, it's like they're part of your family. It's hard to just give them away.
Plus I like thinking about where I found them and the story behind it.
I think one thing that helps me, though, is I take the games I don't have and pretend like I got that one for "free".
So I pull out 1-2 games from the lot, sell the rest to cover the cost, and then bam! 2 free games.

We don't frequent the same internet I guess.
