CIB or loose carts?

  • I used to collect CIB years ago, but sold them due to this fact. I like to play them and if I continued to pull the games in and out of the boxes, over time, would eventually lead them to inevitable deterioration. So it made no sense for me, personally, to continue with this method, but I found the perfect solution, although not a cheap one, just collect nice loose carts for play and factory sealed copies for box art. Been doing it this way for years.

I guess you could also collect loose carts for play AND CIB for box art. As long as you dont keep opening and closing the boxes.

    Belmont's Revenge?

    Fall of the Foot Clan?

    Batman?

once I have the space I plan to just keep the carts in drawers and have the boxes on the shelf for display

oh yeah, Belmont's Revenge isn't bad. The other ones are meh   rather play their NES counterparts, even if they're different games.

Nothing Batman is meh! Except Batman Forever on SNES.

Also, Donkey Kong for Gameboy is great. First few levels of DK and then opens into a whole huge game.

oh yeah forgot about DK, that one is great. If anything I'd be interested in some of the RPGs and puzzle games on the system, they just work better on a portable to me.

Batman Forever is garbage, I wouldn't give it the honor of calling it meh
