Then i played Disgaea 5 on Switch from 1 to 4 pm!    Nothind really to do again today. Watchin James Comey testify righ meow.

I will be honest, you'd have to pay me a bit more money to want to move on somewhere else, honestly.

The whole no stress thing and basically doing whatever I want compensates for a lot of money. I don't make minimum wage by any means, I make enough to live on my own, pay for a new car, insurance and still enjoy my hobbies.

I use so much time at work to do things that most people would have to do at home that takes hours especially in a hobby context, I can watch all my eBay stuff, communicate with buyers etc.
  • I probably do about 4 hours worth in an 8 hour day. I am capable of more sure but I give the same amount of fucks about my job as my job gives about me, which is zero.
  • I do the same in a lot of ways. Biggest would be shipping out packages for stuff i've sold. We have a nice shipping department here so i'm able to use whatever to ship out my things which saves me time and money! But yeah, i agree. Got a good gig goin and wouldnt probably leave. I complain at times but never take steps to really go do somethin different.

If i can get even mo real for a moment, i actually never graduated high school. I slacked off a ton, skipped school to get fucked up, drankin and smokin like a chimney. I made a pact with my mom at the time if i was gonna drop out then i would go get my GED right away. Around the same time i had got fired from my first job at the arcade in seaside for reasons i won't get into. So then the week i was going to go up and get my GED, had it paid for and everything, i got a call from my cousins boyfriend saying his job was looking for someone for a weeks worth of work. Had to start literally the same day i was supposed to start my GED tests. But i went with the job, came up to Portland and 1 week at the job turned into 2, 3, then before i knew it i was there 6 months and was finally being offered a full time gig and was going to move to Tualitin where the job was. It was a good job, we built liquor systems and jamba juice machines. Was more labor intensive then my job now. Anyway, i ended up getting the opportunity to come try out for this job due to my uncle working here. Was basically the same thing as before. It was summer and they needed a little help. But i had to come in the next day which i was also scheduled to work at my other job. I ended up calling in sick and came in for the interview where they basically put me right to work to see what i could do. I had a tiny bit of soldering skills from the previous job which helped. Anyway, they ended up hiring me on the spot basically so i just wrote my old boss a letter and have been at this job for 13 years now in August. If you would of asked me back when i got fired and dropped out of school in Seaside which is a real nasty trap of a town, if i was gonna make it and find some little piece of success i would of laughed. So its been a pretty crazy ride but i'm pretty content and happy these days. I often wonder how things would of played out had i not taken the job and went and got my GED. I'd probably still be a bum in Seaside!
  • I work from my home office, but most days I'll do at least 12 hours of steady work. Some days a lot more more if there is a project deadline coming up for one of my publishers. It doesn't seem nearly as much like work when I'm doing what I love, in my own office, doing my own thing.
