I picked one of these up a CGE and was just curious what it was worth. I already have a howework first lock and I thought this one was pretty cool as well.
I've been looking for a CIP Homework first for about a year now. That's the first time I've seen that one you have Jason. Now I need to look for one of those as well!
P.S.- Wjhy did they even sell these? Why couldn't a parent take the power cord, or hide the whole damn NES?
I guess they sold them for lazy parents who didn't want to hook the NES's back up if they hid them. Back then this was state of the art technology, lol.
I think it's convenience (so you don't have to re-wire the cords back behind the entertainment system every time the kid gets an "A") and also the psychological factor...that your video games are literally under lock-and-key while you fail out of middle school I wonder if it was a big seller...probably not, I know my mom always went to do her own thing in another department while I looked at the video games section, so how would a parent even find out about it to know to want to buy it?
