I've taken a step back, though it's not 100% by choice.
The two-bedroom apartment I'm in felt HUGE when we moved in. However, with the emergence of our now 5-month old, as well as my mother-in-law living with us another couple of months, my god it feels tiny.
I've picked up some odds-and-ends to add to my collection, but there's definitely a bit of guilt involved both with the time required to get them (if I go pick them up), as well as with the ever-looming storage limitations ("where do I put this??")
Time. My goodness, time. In idle moments watching Netflix I'll often completely ignore the main point of a scene and say to myself, "huh, those characters have all of this free time! why don't they do more with it".
As an example, I picked up a boxed 5200 back in late January. I had no space for this beast, but it was a fair price and I had been looking for one. It took me until two weekends ago to finally find time to pull it out and hook everything up (of course it didn't work, and required some repairs, but that's been discussed in other threads). A good friend and Atari fan kept hounding me for a status on it, though all I could say was "still in the closet"...
Time and space are scarce. Even pulling games out of my overpacked closet for the weekly contest can be an ordeal.
That being said, if I had the time to start scouring the local spots again, maybe I'd keep things slow due to the state of the market. However, for now, my official stance is "it's out of my hands".

I honestly restart from scratch every time I play......But I have a 96 Sorc right now that I have been playing for maybe 2 months now.
Ladder reset last week and I already have an 88 Sorc up that can run Hell Baal.
