Best package I've ever received

image

If there is a more appropriate place to post this, I apologize, but I had to share this. Got this in the mail today and just couldn't help but smile and laugh a bit. Yes ladies and gentlemen, that is, indeed, a paper bag. Gotta give the USPS props for getting it here in one piece. I've gotten horribly wrapped items before, but this monstrosity takes the cake. There is a cartridge in there somewhere, but I must admit, I'm a little afraid to open it...

I thought that as well. I'm thinking food, I definitely spot a few small grease stains.
  • I once received a strategy guide in a pizza box before. That was interesting.

Was it for a Ninja Turtles game?

If I ever sell my set of NES Ninja Turtles games I'll definitely do that.

    Good man!
  • I ordered a gift for a friend and the usps manage to mangle the box so badly they stuck it in a clear plastic back with an address tag on it. I'm not surprised I've gotten games in boxes that were never meant for shipping before including a few special editions. It makes you wonder why the USPS doesn't stop these people from just slapping a label on stuff that obviously won't make it.

I've never once been questioned about the quality of my box or packaging at the post office before.  However, I've noticed that any time I ship from a UPS store, they are pretty pushy about how the box was packed or whether or not the box is "shipping" quality.  But to be fair, I always got the impression that UPS did it more to sell their own boxes rather than because they cared about the package getting there in one piece.  They were always trying to get me to buy one of their in store shipping boxes (super expensive).

What a cruel seller, having a pizza box delivered to your door only to find it's not a delicious pizza. But instead something non edible

Sadly, no. I couldn't tell what it was at first. The box was flipped inside out, so there was no indication of a pizza box except the shape. I just thought it was a weird cardboard box. I couldn't recall buying anything that would require such a large, oddly shaped box. I cut it open and saw a Little Caesar's logo, which caused me to drop it, I was so stunned. What's hilarious is that the guy wrote "FRAGILE" on the box. Cuz, you know, pizza and strategy guides need to be protected.

Unfortunately no. I cannot quite recall what it was for. I think it might've been the Mario Mania guide.

And Loxx, that would be HILARIOUS!

True, but at least it was something I wanted.

    Also, now I want pizza...

Never bag it.  That's no fun.

The tape had so much hair on it that the adhesive was barely able to bond to the paper to keep it sealed. But the cart was shockingly unharmed, which was surprisingly awesome because I needed a nice condition black seal Contra. I'm moving in a few weeks and luckily I have a walk-in dumpster in my driveway, which is where I opened it. I wouldn't be comfortable knowing that those remnants were in my house, even if they were in a trash can.
